Indiana Michigan Power says it is suspending service disconnections in the Three Rivers area after last Friday’s destructive tornado and severe storms.

The company says the move is meant to help customers recover as the community begins rebuilding.

Disconnects will be paused through March 31 while officials continue assessing storm impacts.

I&M says crews worked quickly to restore electricity after the storm and will continue supporting customers during the recovery process.

Company leaders say their focus now is helping residents rebuild and stay connected.
