Governor Mike Braun joined state leaders at the Indiana State Museum to unveil Indiana’s official exhibit for the Great American State Fair, part of the nationwide America 250 celebration.
The event will be held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. from June 25 through July 10.
Indiana’s exhibit will feature an interactive miniature golf course designed to showcase the state’s history, culture, innovation, and economic strengths. Each hole will highlight a different aspect of Indiana, including agriculture, natural resources, tourism, sports, and traditions such as the Indiana State Fair.
Braun said Indiana has played an important role in the nation’s development since statehood in 1816 and that the exhibit will give visitors from across the country a chance to experience what makes Indiana unique.
State officials say the attraction is designed to be both educational and entertaining, highlighting Indiana’s contributions to the nation over the past 250 years while showcasing opportunities for the future.
The exhibit is being led by the Indiana State Fair and is supported by partners including the Indiana 250th Commission, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, and Indiana Sports Corp.
