South Bend man convicted in firearm case

A South Bend man has been convicted in federal court of illegally possessing a firearm.

A jury found 41-year-old Rodoundy Smith guilty Wednesday following a two-day trial in South Bend.

Sentencing is set for January 20th. The case was investigated by federal agents with assistance from South Bend Police and the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
