The FBI subpoenaed an affidavit containing text messages in which former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle allegedly admitted to paying for sex with a 16-year-old girl, Business Insider reported.

The subpoena comes a few weeks after Fogle’s Zionsville home was raided July 7. Police haven’t said why the home was raided and Fogle has not been charged with any crimes. At the time, Subway released a statement saying that company leaders believed the raid is likely linked to an investigation into an employee at the foundation he founded to combat childhood obesity.

The text messages in the affidavit are between Fogle and a former Subway franchisee, who said she had a sexual relationship with Fogle at the time the texts were sent.
Fogle requested that the franchisee post an ad on Craigslist offering sex with other men and that she allow him to watch, Business Insider reported. He also requested a meeting with her cousin, who was underage at the time, though the texts didn’t explicitly state the meeting would be sexual.

On June 19, during a text message exchange, the woman asked Fogle if he met the 16-year-old girl he paid to have sex with him on Craigslist. Fogle responded, “It was amazing!!!!”
The age of consent in Indiana is 16.
Subway, which suspended its relationship with Fogle after the raid on his home, posted to Twitter following the subpoena.
The latest allegation about Jared Fogle, if true, is appalling. As previously stated, we have suspended our relationship with Jared.
