HARTFORD, Mich. (AP) — An 11-year-old southwestern Michigan boy who stood up to cyberbullies in an online video has received a private tour of the White House.

Logan Fairbanks of Hartford and his family received the invitation from White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett. She tells WOOD-TV that she set up the visit to highlight the issue of bullying and encourage others who are trying to stop bullies.

On Tuesday, Logan was able to sit in the president’s chair in the Oval Office. His family also got to take in other sights around Washington, D.C., and plans to meet with U.S. Rep. Fred Upton of St. Joseph on Wednesday.

Logan gained national attention earlier this month by confronting cyberbullies who posted hurtful comments on YouTube videos he and his father made.
