Hi there and welcome to the new website for 95.3 Michiana’s News Channel.

I’m the newest member of the MNC team. As editor and digital producer for this website, my job is to make sure you can find the latest news and information from St. Joseph County on 953MNC.com and on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. You may also hear me reporting on 95.3 FM.

I’m so excited to be here.

A little about me: When I was 5, I decided I wanted to be a journalist when I grew up. I used to ask neighbors questions like “What is your favorite color?” and write it down in a notebook and then tell my family all about it.

I grew up in Portage (yes, I’m a Region Rat) and moved to South Bend’s River Park neighborhood in 2008 to go to IU South Bend. When I graduated in 2012, I moved to Elkhart and began working at The Elkhart Truth. Now I’m in Mishawaka for MNC, though I still live in Elkhart.

I may not be native, but man, do I love this area.

Michiana is full of vibrant, passionate people doing amazing things. There are a ton of fun places to go and events to check out and you’re always sure to run into friendly people everywhere.

I’m looking forward to meeting many of you on our social media pages and here on 953MNC.com.

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my friends, reading a book or hanging out at an event somewhere in the Michiana area. I make a lot of cheesy puns and, for the record, green is my favorite color.
