Sassy's Sandwich Shack Burgers and More opens in Granger on Monday

Granger’s newest restaurant is bringing fresh flavor to town with allergies and special diets in mind.

Sassy’s Sandwich Shack Burgers and More opened for business Monday, Aug. 3, at 303 Florence Ave., Granger.

The restaurant moved from the food court in the University Park Mall for a larger space at Toscana Park, which allowed owner Sean Wojtkowski to expand the menu, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners Flavor 574.

The new menu features classic and sweet potato fries crisped in sunflower oil, vegan and vegetarian burger patties, non-GMO beef from DC’s Meats and — like the restaurant’s name implies — plenty more.

Diners will also be able to order from the Indulgence Pastry Shop menu, which is also owned by Wojtkowski.

Sassy’s is open form 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (tentative) Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
