Car crash in southwestern Michigan kills 2 young Benton Harbor women

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (AP) — Two young women have died in a weekend car crash in southwestern Michigan.

Police identified the victims as 20-year-old driver Lydia McIntosh and 19-year-old passenger Raven Spencer, both from Benton Harbor. Three more passengers, ages 19 or 20, were injured in the Saturday morning crash near South Haven.

The crash occurred on Interstate 196 in Van Buren County, 30 miles north of Benton Harbor.
