Missing Michigan man identified, search of Lake Michigan resumes

Police have identified the man officials are searching for in Lake Michigan after he was reported missing last week.

Eike Krebs, 23, of St. Joseph, Mich., was reported missing after the body of 24-year-old Brandi Mannino was found washed up on Tiscornia Beach in St. Joseph, according to WNDU.

Krebs and Mannino were at a dinner party on Thursday night, Nov. 19, and told people they were heading to the beach.

Crews have been searching for Krebs since, but suspended their search on Monday, Nov. 23, because of strong currents. The search was resumed on Tuesday, WNDU reported.
