Cromwell man in serious condition after car hits tree in Kosciusko County

A 20-year-old Cromwell man is in serious condition after his car hit a tree in Kosciusko County on Tuesday night, May 10.

The man was found in his car bleeding profusely and rushed to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Sgt. Chad Hill with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators determined that the man was speeding in his car traveling east on C.R. 1000 North when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree on the south side of the road near Syracuse/Webster Road, Hill said. The man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Police are still investigating the crash.
