National Wine Day 2016: 5 Michiana wineries to visit for your next tasting tour

One of the benefits of living in Michiana is having dozens of wineries only a few hours of driving away — not to mention the several that are right here in our area.

And having wineries so close is never better than on National Wine Day, a celebration of all things vino every year on May 25. Whether you’re interested in red or white wine, sweet or dry wine or anything in between, you can find a glass (or a bottle) to enjoy at one of our local wineries.

Here are five Michiana wineries you may want to check out Wednesday night or over Memorial Day weekend. If this isn’t enough, head over to Flavor 574 for a complete list and map of the wineries in Indiana and Michigan.
