A 17-year-old girl from Mishawaka is one of two teenagers arrested after police say they stole an SUV in Dowagiac.

The theft happened in the 600 block of North Front Street early Tuesday night, according to WSJM.

Investigators say the victim went inside a business, but left the SUV running. When he came back out, it was gone.

Police spotted the stolen vehicle nearby and arrested the Mishawaka girl and an 18-year-old man from Kalamazoo. The girl also faces a weapons charge after officers say they found her in possession of a loaded gun.
