You know what it’s like to be down to 1 percent… because you’ve probably done literally all of these 16 things.

1. You ask everyone in the immediate vicinity for a phone charger

2. …including total strangers

3. You start hunting for chargers not being used where ever you are, especially if you’re at home or work

4. You side-eye everyone who has a charger… for the type of phone you don’t have

5. If you have a charger but you’re not home, you go into a restaurant and ask to be seated near an outlet

6. You close out of all of your apps

7. …and you turn off bluetooth and WiFi

8. You turn your brightness down to the point where you can’t even see the screen unless it’s two inches in front of your face

9. You turn on power saving mode and cross your fingers it lasts until you finally find a charger

10. When someone inevitably calls, you answer with a frantic screech: “My phone is about to die, make it fast!”

11. Or you ignore the call and hope it wasn’t important

12. You turn off your phone in hopes that you’ll be able to turn it on later when you REALLY need it

13. You ask to use someone else’s phone to text or call someone important

14. You start daydreaming about those phone cases with the built-in chargers

15. After your phone dies, you actually feel really free, like you can do anything

16. …but then you break down and buy enough chargers to keep at least one everywhere you go regularly

You know what it’s like to get down to the last 1%. Help Boys & Girls Club get to 100% for the new Boys & Girls Club location in Elkhart. Donate $25 to the new Elkhart club today!
