The man accused in a deadly shooting in the parking lot outside of Bar Louie at University Park Mall in June is back in St. Joseph County.

Miguel Rosales, 26, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Chicago last month.

Rosales waived extradition proceedings and was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail on Tuesday and held without bond.

The shooting escalated from a heated confrontation inside the bar, then continued in the parking lot. According to court documents, the victim, Benito Bueno, 27, was held by friends of Rosales, who fired several times, killing him.
