Allegation of improper behavior waged against the former host of “A Prairie Home Companion” have had a ripple effect in Michiana.

The South Bend Tribune reports Goshen College has cancelled a scheduled performance, in May, by Garrison Keillor, who was fired, this week, by Minnesota Public Radio after the allegation surfaced.

Goshen College leaders issued a tweet Thursday saying they were saddened and deeply disappointed by the accusation and would be working on a replacement.

Keillor’s appearance was part of the college’s 2017-2018 Performing Arts Series.

There has been one allegation, just one. He gave his side. I personally would like to hear the other side and find out if what he said maybe had merit. Was there a misunderstanding? Did he trivialize an encounter? I just would like more facts since every guy accused seems to be automatically accused. Guess innocent unroll proven guilty doesn’t apply. Let’s try them in public, ruin their life first then we will work out the proof in a trial.
