11-year-old boy total South Bend woman’s car at Mishawaka Wal-Mart

A car belonging to a South Bend woman was totalled in the parking lot of the Mishawaka Walmart.

The woman works there, and says her car is a total loss. WSBT reports that she was wrapping up her shift Wednesday night when a coworker told her that someone had hit her car in the parking lot. She went outside and discovered that her car was smashed.

Mishawaka Police say the culprit was an 11 year-old boy left in the running car when his mother ran into the store. The child put the car into gear and went for a ride, crashing into the car after hitting three others.

There were no injuries.
