The Shed re-opens in Granger

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

Eddie’s Steak Shed is open again in Granger.

Though it’s no longer called by that name. The Shed re-opened at 4 p.m. Wednesday, months after Roberto Beristain was sent to Mexico as part of a deportation case that got national coverage in the wake of Donald Trump’s ascending to the White House.

The new owner, Tom Samoilis, bought the restaurant from the Berestains in July and remodeled it in the ensuing months. The interior was overhauled and the menu was tweaked. Samoilis was friends with the original owner of Eddie’s Steak Shed.

The Shed will be open in the afternoons and evenings every day of the week except Monday.
