Police investigating shooting in downtown South Bend

Few details have been released about a shooting that took place in downtown South Bend.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, to the area of South Main and Bronson Streets.

They found a man who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Officers discovered shell casings at the scene.

So far, there is no information about any possible suspects or exactly what led to the shooting.
