Live poker is coming to South Bend.

Officials at Four Wind Casino in South Bend say they have listened to its customers and are building a poker room at its new casino. A news release from the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians states that construction will start next week.

There will be 10 tables with live dealers, with games ranging from $1 to $2 No-Limit Hold’em, $2 to $5 No-Limit Hold’em, $3 to $6 Limit Hold’Em, and $1 to $3 pot Limit Omaha.

The casino will not need to apply for a new gaming permit, as their current Class Two gaming classification covers poker.

No word on when the poker room will open.
