Michigan City gun and drug dealer sentenced to federal prison

A Michigan City man has been sentenced in federal court after he was caught selling firearms when he shouldn’t have been.

38-year-old Faheem Pasha was sentenced to eight years in prison with two years supervised release this week.

He was arrested on January 12 of this year and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The ATF had been investigating Pasha and was caught selling a .38 Special and a Taurus revolver from a home on Ashland Avenue.

Court documents say that Pasha had more guns and had even been awaiting the delivery of a package of marijuana in the near future.

Pasha has at least 17 prior arrests, including a 2001 conviction for dealing cocaine.
