Pedestrian struck, injured by Concord school bus

A Concord Community Schools bus was involved in a pedestrian crash.

It happened around 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, on County Road 113 near Surrey Lane.

The pedestrian was clipped by a side mirror on the bus, which was transporting Junior High and High School students.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and no students were injured. However, Concord said that counselors would be made available to the students throughout the day.

Another bus transported the students to school.
