Scotty’s Brewhouse abruptly closes in Mishawaka

Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC

After more than five years in operation in Mishawaka, Scotty’s Brewhouse closed its doors.

The sports bar chain closed, without notice to customers, late Friday, July 19.

Scotty’s Brewhouse had filed for bankruptcy protection and had previously closed several other locations, but left the Main Street restaurant open, and a few others throughout the state.

A 95.3 MNC listener wrote that a friend of hers worked at the restaurant and closed it on Friday. The listener wrote that her friend arrived for work on Saturday to find the doors locked.

The building was formerly occupied by Max & Erma’s.
