Shots fired into Elkhart home, police investigating

Elkhart police are investigating after shots were fired into a home last Sunday.

Police were called to a home in the 400 block of W. Cleveland Avenue around 4 a.m. after the resident reported hearing gunfire.

ABC 57 reports the victim told officers that he heard about five gunshots, then a few seconds later he heard two or three more.

One of the bullets went through his home and into the living room.

No suspect information is available at this time, but if you have any information regarding the incident, call police.
