KKK materials litter yards in St. Joseph County

(95.3 MNC)

Ku Klux Klan members littered several yards in St. Joseph County with recruitment materials.

New Carlisle resident Kevin Bargielski was waking to his neighbor’s house Saturday night, when he saw someone driving a white truck around his neighborhood. Occasionally, the driver would throw plastic bags into people’s yards.

The bags contained several papers from the Church of the National Knights in New Carlisle. The various papers included an application to join the New Carlisle chapter of the Ku Klux Klan, reports WSBT.

Several residents, including Bargielski, went up and down the street picking up the propaganda and throwing it away.

If you find a KKK recruitment package outside your home, you are asked to report it to your local police department.
