Man, 18, critically hurt in crash at Ireland & Myrtle Roads in South Bend

An 18-year-old South Bend man was hospitalized in critical condition after a crash at Ireland and Myrtle Roads.

The collision happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, when police say a truck, pulling a camper, collided with a Chrysler, striking the driver’s door and injuring the teenager.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
