Benton Township Police are looking for a robbery suspect

Police are looking for a man who committed an armed robbery at a Walgreens in Benton Township.

The Benton Township Police Department was dispatched to a Walgreens on E. Napier Ave, for a report of an armed robbery, according to a Press Release issued by the department.

According to the release, the suspect, was a black male wearing a tan hat, tan boots and a navy-blue hooded sweatshirt, was last seen headed south across E. Napier Ave.

Witnesses say the male came into the store demanding money and then pulled out a firearm.

No shots were fired and the suspect left with an unnamed amount of money, with no one injured.
