Michigan sports books fail to bounce back the same as Indiana

Michigan sports betting has had two consecutive months of declines.

The numbers bounced back a bit in The Hoosier State, but north of the state line bets are still off. The seasonal sports slump has kept sports betting volume down, and online casinos came in short again of the elusive $100 million revenue mark. The online numbers are still impressive for a state that has become one of the three largest online casino markets in the country in less than five months.

PlayMichigan’s recent analysis shows online sportsbooks taking in $237.6 million dollars in wagers during May, down 4.9% from April.

Online and retail sportsbooks in the state were down 6% from the previous month.
