One of three people charged in an April 2020 robbery in Goshen appeared in court Thursday.

The victim was beaten, then forced to take his pants off and climb into a dumpster while the suspects got away.

According to the Elkhart Truth, the robbery stemmed from an argument between a woman and the man, because he wouldn’t delete some photos of her that he had on his phone.

She asked two men to take the phone.

Kevin Evans and La Necia Sharp-Taylor were found nearby and arrested.

The second man, Tyrice Edmonson, was arrested earlier this month on a warrant charging him with robbery resulting in injury.
