Elkhart County 4-H Fair leaders say attendance was very strong for this year’s event, after a year off due to the pandemic.

Total attendance numbers are not yet available, but Fair President Trent Hostetler said they new records for attendance on the first Friday and first Saturday, and the second Friday of the fair, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Whether the fair will set an overall record is still unclear.

The fair ended Saturday.

Whether or not there will be an overall record attendance, Hostetler tells The Elkhart Truth that the crowd was very helpful in allowing vendors and 4-H clubs to grow their coffers.
