Pros tee off Friday at the 2021 Four Winds Invitational

The best of the best are on the green for Round 1 as part of the Symetra Tour on the “Road to the L-P-G-A.” The Road, this year, though, has taken a turn toward South Bend Country Club where the tournament is being played for the first time.

Since 1916, South Bend Country Club has been challenging golfers and, over the year, it has hosted events such as the Indiana Senior Open and the Western Open.

The club has also welcomed golfing greats Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer. Round 2 is Saturday. The final round is Sunday.

During the past nine years, the Four Winds Invitational has also become a huge fundraising arm for Beacon Health System, purchasing life-saving equipment for those in need. During this span, the Pokagon Band has donated nearly $735,000 for Beacon.
