A male in Mishawaka died after being shot in the abdomen.

Mishawaka Police were called around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, to the 600 block of East Tenth Street where they found a male with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he died.

Investigators say they found gun shell casings at the scene of the shooting.

So far, there is no word of any suspects, arrests or information about what led to the gunfire.
