Traffic stop in Elkhart leads to the arrest of two from Wyoming

A traffic stop in Elkhart leads to the arrests of a man and woman from Wyoming.

52-year-old Tony Mansfield and 49-year-old Amy Wendt, were pulled over, last week, in the area of State Road 19 and County Road 4 for a moving violation.

Police checked both of their names and found that Mansfield had a suspended license in Montana. While Wendt was on supervised release or federal probation.

Authorities found more than 40 bags of white powder and a glass tube. The substances tested positive for cocaine, meth and marijuana, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Wendt was charged with dealing cocaine and possession of meth and marijuana.

Mansfield was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana.
