Michigan bringing back Water-Winter Wonderland license plates

(MI Sec. of State)

Michigan’s Secretary of State’s Office is bringing back the Water-Winter Wonderland License Plate.

It’s the iconic blue plate that was last used in 1965, trumpeting the state’s popular year-round tourism potential. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says collectors and motorists have requested a comeback for the plate for years.

A one-time $5 graphic plate fee will be collected if you buy the plate, which will be available for passenger vehicles and as a disability plate. Personalization will be available.

You can order the plate online at http://Michigan.gov/SOSPlates.

That plate will look great on your car, parked in your driveway, because you won’t be able to afford gas.
