Starting Monday, Riverside Drive will be closed from Angela Boulevard to Vassar Avenue for tree removal.

It’s part of the riverbank stabilization project that should last through late summer.

This part of the project was scheduled for early in the year to prevent protected bat species from roosting in the trees.

Detour routes will be Angela Boulevard and Vassar Avenue via Portage Avenue. The street is expected to reopen end of day Friday, April 1, weather permitting.
