Two people arrested on fraud charges after bank incident, crash

Two people were arrested on fraud charges after an incident at South Bend bank followed by a crash.

Police were called, Thursday, March 10, to the 1st Source Bank branch at State Road 933 and Cleveland Road on the report of possible fraud at the drive thru window.

The suspect vehicle took off when officers arrived.

A pursuit began, then ended when the vehicle hit stop sticks, according to ABC 57.

The police chase that ended when the suspect vehicle crashed into a power pole.

There were no injuries.

The driver, Sonya Leonard and her passenger, Donald Henderson, were arrested on a fraud charge.

Leonard also faces a count of resisting.
