That’s compared to this same time period last year. Flu symptoms range from mild to severe and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle and body aches, headaches, and fatigue.

Individuals over the age of 65, individuals with certain chronic medical conditions, infants and toddlers are most at risk.

Besides your primary care doctor or pharmacy, flu shots are available at the St. Joseph County Department of Health Immunization South Bend clinic (227 W. Jefferson Blvd., 9th floor, South Bend, IN 46601) on Monday-Friday, 8:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and at the Mishawaka clinic (219 Lincolnway W, Mishawaka, IN 46544) Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
