Michigan Works will have new hours in Galien on Tuesdays.

The adult education program offers an educational and high school alternative, and their program manager told WSJM that an option specific to southern Berrien County was launched recently.

Michigan Works is working with Neighbor By Neighbor in the effort, offering educational options for anyone 16 or older who doesn’t have a high school diploma and lives in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties.

The program is free and the open office hours in Galien will be every Tuesday from 12:30 to 3 p.m. It’s recommended that anyone interested register online first.
