The Milkweed Commons project is revitalizing South Bend’s Monroe Park neighborhood, with the historic Hope Rescue Mission building at its center.

The project includes $600,000 for Monarch Printing Building renovations and plans for a public park.

Empower Her Development, a women-led group, is leading the Hope Ministries building project.

The redevelopment will transform the area into a community hub.
