The Battalion Chief with the Centre Township Fire Department has been arrested for Domestic Battery.
It happened late Monday night, March 24, when Mishawaka Police were called to a home on Elder Street and found the victim with blood on their face.
The victim told police an argument over a new job turned violent, and Christopher Haggerty began throwing objects and food.
The victim tried to call 911, but Haggerty threw a paper towel holder and raised a cutting board at them.
Haggerty has been charged with Domestic Battery and ordered to have no contact with the victim.
