A jury trial was continued for a man accused of vehicle theft and burglary.

Elkhart police responded to a call at the Granite Shop in December of 2022 where the general manager said the company’s truck had been stolen.

34-year-old Michael Burmeister II was arrested in October of 2023 during a search warrant where he was found with the company’s missing vehicle.

The Goshen News says Burmeister reportedly admitted to taking the vehicle during an interview with police. His jury trial has been continued to July 7.
