A runaway horse and buggy caused minor property damage after it collided with a parked truck in the Goshen Menards parking lot at 1925 Lincolnway East.
Goshen police were dispatched to the scene around 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, after receiving reports of the unoccupied buggy moving uncontrolled through the lot.
Upon arrival, officers determined the horse and buggy had struck a parked truck.
The truck’s owner, a 63-year-old Goshen man, requested an official report for his employer due to the damage sustained.
Authorities did not indicate what caused the horse to become separated or lose control, and no citations were reported as of Saturday afternoon.
