A well-known Goshen diner is back open after a fire shut it down last month.

The South Side Soda Shop reopened on Wednesday, April 23, with its regular hours.

The fire started in the apartments above the restaurant and kept it closed for several weeks.

The shop is known for its retro feel and comfort food and was once featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
