Indiana’s Attorney general is suing a LaPorte mobile home park

(95.3 MNC)

Indiana’s Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against a LaPorte mobile home park, citing “deplorable conditions” against the owner of Deerfield Estates.

AG Todd Rokita says people living there are dealing with dirty water, low pressure, extended shutoffs, and no real oversight. WSBT reports that residents have dealt with yellow or brown water, flooding, and repair charges that should have been cost-free.

The suit seeks restitution for the impacted residents.
