Goshen man arrested for drunk driving with prior conviction

A 50-year-old Goshen man was arrested after being found slumped over the wheel of a running vehicle at 105 Holaway Court.
Police found the man just after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, in the 100 block of Holaway Court and discovered the vehicle was running and in gear.
Police say the driver, identified as Oscar Dominguez Cruz, was unresponsive behind the wheel.
Officers determined Dominguez Cruz was under the influence of alcohol. A preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.214%.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
A blood draw was completed, and results are pending.
Cruz faces a charge of operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction.
