Gov. braun announces plans to to replace Indiana Economic Development Corp.

(provided by his Senate office)
Governor Mike Braun announced plans to fully dismantle and replace the Indiana Economic Development Corp. board, citing a need for more active governance.
The board, which oversees the IEDC’s activities, currently consists of eight members.
Braun expressed his intention to replace all board members, stating that he has many interested individuals.
This move follows Braun’s recent reshaping of the IU Board of Trustees and is part of his campaign promise to rein in the IEDC’s activities, particularly regarding the LEAP District controversy.
Braun is expected to make a full announcement on Monday.

We will see if this makes any difference. I was hoping he would eliminate IEDC completely.
