SBPD’s Violent Crimes Unit investigating shooting

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that wounded a juvenile in South Bend.
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, around 8:45 p.m., South Bend Police were called to Memorial Hospital on the report of a walk-in gunshot wound victim.
Upon arrival, officers met with the 17-year-old victim. Through an initial investigation, officers were advised that the shooting occurred at Miami Hills Apartments.
