Goodwill Industries of Michiana is continuing its support for local veterans, announcing six Stand Down events across Northern Indiana this year.

Through its Veterans Resource Network, Goodwill Industries of Michiana will host events in Kosciusko, Elkhart, St. Joseph, La Porte, Porter and Marshall counties.

Stand Downs provide essential services for veterans, including food, clothing, medical care, mental health resources and job counseling.

Organizers say the events are designed to support homeless, at-risk and unemployed veterans while connecting them and their families with community resources.

All events will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information is available through Goodwill’s Veterans Resource Network.
