(95.3 MNC)
A Niles man has died after a three-vehicle crash in Berrien County.
Sheriff’s deputies say the 45-year-old motorcyclist was waiting to make a left turn on U.S. 12 near Lubke Road Thursday afternoon when a minivan struck his motorcycle from behind. The impact threw him from the bike before the minivan crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle.
The motorcyclist later died from his injuries. Investigators say he was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the minivan suffered minor injuries, and no one in the third vehicle was hurt.
