Thousands of Michiana residents are without power Friday morning as storms roll through the area.

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) reports more than 7,700 people are without power in total, with approximately 3,200 in Elkhart alone.

If you haven’t left for the day, keep an eye out for downed tree limbs and power lines on the roadways.

I&M reports Elkhart residents may see their power restored around Noon Friday, though no word yet on Michigan residents’ restoration time.
