A man is dead after a semi and bicycle were involved in a crash in LaPorte County.
The collision happened around 12 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 19, at the intersection of State Road 39 and County Road 900 North.
Mason Anderson, 29, of Chicago died at the scene.
Officers say many people on bikes were riding along State Road 39 when a vehicle merged lanes to go past them, but as the driver tried to avoid Anderson, the Chicago man crashed into the trailer.
